A Week with IRÄYE Skincare

I’m in a season where time feels very finite. Two young children, broken sleep, and not a lot of room for anything overly complicated—especially when it comes to skincare. So anything I use needs to be simple, effective, and quietly work in the background.

I’ve been using IRÄYE Skincare for just over a week now, and it’s one of the few things that’s felt like it’s actually meeting me where I am.

My routine has stayed fairly minimal. I cleanse with Aesop’s milk cleanser, use a vibrating face massager to lift away any excess oil, and then layer in Iraye—the Deeptox Radiance Firming Serum, Eye Revive Cream, and The Rich Cream. When I can, I’ll use their mushroom gua sha for a few minutes, and I’ve been pairing the eye cream with their reusable silicone patches, usually while doing something else.

The first thing I noticed—surprisingly quickly—was my forehead. The fine lines have started to soften. Not dramatically, but enough that I’ve caught myself doing a double take. It feels like my skin has relaxed a little. My cheeks are usually where I hold congestion—small bumps that never quite surface. Those have started to smooth out, and what’s interesting is how quickly it happens. Within an hour of applying the products, there’s a visible difference.

Under my eyes is where I feel things most, especially with the lack of sleep. There’s still some puffiness (I don’t think anything fully erases that), but the dark circles have noticeably lifted. I look more awake than I feel, which, at this stage, is enough.

What I like is that it doesn’t feel like I’m doing much. There’s no intensity to it. It’s just a few considered steps that seem to support the skin in a more intelligent, less aggressive way—something about the focus on lymphatic movement makes sense, especially when everything else feels a bit sluggish.

It’s early, but my skin feels clearer, smoother, and a little more even. And right now, that feels like a quiet win.

The Lymphatic Face Lift Ritual

What’s felt particularly aligned is that we’re about to bring this into the studio in a more hands-on way.

On 19 April in Wimbledon and 26 April in Balham (3–5pm), we’re hosting a two-hour Lymphatic Face Lift Ritual—a guided, deeply practical session led by Carli, designed to release tension, stimulate lymphatic flow, and restore a natural lift to the face.

The truth is that the face holds a lot more than we realise, tension through the jaw, around the eyes, across the temples, and deep into the base of the skull. With over 40 muscles and more than 300 lymph nodes, it’s closely tied to how we hold stress, how we circulate fluid, and how we recover.

This workshop event is about learning how to work with that system. Through a structured self-facial practice—combining massage, lymphatic techniques, and acupressure Carli will guide you through key areas of the face to encourage drainage, soften tension, and support natural lift. It’s subtle, but incredibly effective.

You’ll leave feeling clearer, lighter, and visibly refreshed—with techniques that feel easy enough to return to, even on the busiest days. And, every guest receives a trial set from IRÄYE to try at home.
