the GoodGood List - October Edition
the GoodGood
list.
Places to go, things to see and little pleasures worth leaving the house for.
October looks rather good on London.
Vintage treasures, autumn wardrobe updates, literary conversations, flowers after hours, a little art and the return of the long Sunday lunch.
A few of our favourite rituals, places we keep coming back to and things we're looking forward to this month. Because feeling good isn't just about what happens in the studio. It's everything in between.
Re-Collection,
Notting Hill
Vintage clothing, sculptural ceramics and beautiful objects for the home, all tucked away in one of London's loveliest neighbourhoods.
The sort of place you pop into for a browse and leave feeling completely inspired. A little treasure hunting, followed by a wander around Notting Hill. Our kind of afternoon.
Meet Bernard,
East Dulwich
One of my favourite rituals is popping into Meet Bernard each season for a little wardrobe pick-me-up.
I've been going for the last seven years, and the founder, Dani, is brilliant. She really goes above and beyond to ensure whatever you choose feels completely like you, even if that means walking out with nothing.
Make a morning of it with a stroll down Lordship Lane, a coffee and a little browse of the independent shops.

Literature Festival
Dua Lipa swaps the stage for the literary world, curating a programme of brilliant minds, big ideas and conversations worth having at the Southbank Centre.
We're particularly interested in Zadie Smith and Patti Smith. A very good reason to spend an evening listening, learning and leaving with something new to think about.

Claridge's Flowers
After Hours
Flowers, cocktails and a little creative escapism.
An evening floristry masterclass at Claridge's Brooks Mews flower shop. A chance to get creative, learn something new and spend an evening surrounded by beautiful blooms.
Quite possibly the chicest way to spend a weeknight.

Cannizaro Park &
The Hand in Hand
A stroll through Cannizaro Park, ending at The Hand in Hand in Wimbledon.
A proper Sunday lunch, after a class at GoodGood obviously, an excellent glass of red and absolutely nowhere else to be.
Consider the rest of the afternoon spoken for.
The Trunk Show,
Shoreditch
Forty-plus independent sellers, archive fashion, vintage furniture and the thrill of finding something nobody else has.
The sort of shopping that feels more like a treasure hunt. A very good excuse to spend Sunday browsing, discovering and perhaps coming home with something special.

Frieze London,
Regent's Park
A little contemporary art, a little inspiration and a very good excuse to spend the day in Regent's Park.
From emerging international talent to established artists and experimental installations, Frieze brings an extraordinary mix of ideas together.
And if you fancy something more leisurely, Frieze Sculpture offers an outdoor art-filled wander through the park, completely free.

An Espresso Course
at Origin Coffee
There's something so lovely about spending a morning learning something purely for the pleasure of it.
An espresso course at Origin Coffee is exactly that. A chance to get behind the machine, understand what goes into a really good cup and perhaps finally master your morning coffee ritual.
And it doesn't have to be espresso. Any course that gives you a new skill and a little time for yourself sounds like a morning well spent to us.
